Sr. Windows Systems Administrator

The Windows Systems Administrator will play a fundamental role in tailoring our systems to meet business needs. You will build virtual and physical servers and storage, setup logging, implement monitoring, and maintain these servers to facilitate employee efficiency.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the appropriate departments to build systems that supports organizational requirements
    • Maintain current server infrastructure
    • Mentor team members
    • Provide recommendations and fixes to technical problems in a cost-effective manner
    • Automation of tasks using a combination of scripting, and configuration management systems
    • Troubleshoots and performs break-fix tasks on all systems as necessary including servers, appliances, and systems
    • Maintain systems security
    • Ensure precise, consistent and timely communications with the users and Pavlov Management
    • Maintain detailed records and prepare communications as needed
    • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
    • Participates in Corporate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client service, efficiency, and profitability
    • Participates in selected inter departmental meetings, conferences, conference calls, and planning
    • Document tasks completed and in progress daily
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • B.A. recommended or equivalent work experience
    • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Server and Storage solutions
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio
    • MCSE preferred
    • 5+ years of experience as Systems Administrator
    • Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Experience with Microsoft System Center
    • Experience with BUDR systems preferably Veeam
    • Experience deploying server hardware
    • Experience with system security and system hardening
    • Experience with current endpoint and gateway security solutions
